Hi, I'm Heidi :)

If you have cruised through my blog you can probably tell I am not that great at keeping up with a blog.  Cue that funny emoji with the straight teethed smile.  ***Full disclosure*** I googled "what to blog about." True story.  And what keeps coming up.... write about 10 facts or fun tidbits about yourself.  Ummm, ok. Sure.  So, here it goes!

1. I have been in business since 2005! After finishing my MA in photojournalism from the University of Westminster in London I moved home and put my degree to work! I started freelancing for our awesome local magazine...https://berkscountyliving.com/ And, I still shoot for them today! 

2. I also teach photography at multiple universities! Some of my students have gone on to help me in my business which is so fun!

3. I still shoot, develop and print black and white film.  Yup, it exists.

4. I met my husband while running against him in a local borough council election.  He won by a few votes! But, in the end, we both agree that we both won :)

5. We had the most EPIC thunderstorm rip through our outdoor lake wedding during cocktail hour.  There were chairs flipping over, white caps on the lake, vases breaking...but, in the end, we got the best cotton candy pink sky!  Our photographer was AMAZING!  Our wedding is featured here: https://berkscountyliving.com/web-exclusives/christopher-lincoln-heidi-reuter/

6. I played semi-pro soccer in England for one year. 

7. I love to ski! Chris and I got engaged skiing!

8. I prefer the mountains/lake over a beach any day.  Hey, we redheads burn! I need shade!

9. Chris and I have a pitbull/boxer named Dewey and he has more followers on his Instagram than I do...HA and that is a FACT.

10. I love decorating our porch each season and hosting friends around the fire pit and exchanging laughs.

BONUS: I love chocolate.
